I liked it actually. Better than the other MMA movies that came out in the last 5 years.

Formulaic, yes. Stole 3 scenes straight out of Rocky 2 and 1 from Rocky Balboa (also from from Jet Li's Unleash). If you saw the Rocky movies and watch this you'll know exactly what scenes I'm referring to. Part of the backstory definitely from Kickboxer.

Kind of slow at the beginning.

I did like the last fight, realistic enough FOR ME but remember I'm more of a casual than a hardcore fan.

I give it a 6.5/10.
