soak a washcloth in water, ring it out, put it in the freezer flat for 7-10 min. it will emerge as a pliable ice sheet and last 15 min or so. If you freeze a few you can alternate. it's more of a distractionary thing but feels good and doesn't cause it to get worse or spread.

1% is OTC. The prescription 2% is killer.

We have poison Oak out here which is very similar I believe. My whole life I'm the dude who goes into the bushes to get the ball, for whatever reason I have never had it and I been all up in it as recently as last week. My son looks at it and gets it

I've been doing that twice daily, put on the hydro, and top with calamine.
