This seems like the best place for a public apology.
It seems I misunderstood @Eranys comment and held a grudge against him falsely.
I don’t wish to qualify it or redeem myself, just to give him the benefit of any doubt I had.
He didn’t say anything directed at my daughter and his intention was not to sully her status.
I can’t fully make up for it because what is said is said.
It’s as much as I can do to apologize faithfully and wholeheartedly.
Eranys helps run this place and loves this community. That is something I respect and appreciate.

The accusation was public, the apology was equally public and seems sincere.

We all don't have to like each other or all get along, but there's plenty of space here for everyone. Y'all don't gotta be buddies or chop it up, and we can all keep hanging out 👍

I was wrong about that. Maybe it’s better to air it. Maybe I should have let go of it.
Nevertheless, I appreciate your letting me apologize. It takes decency to accept it and I believe in other people’s decency more than my own.
You’re a good sort too and have consistently put up with my crap. I’ll try to do better.

You know what--I've been wrong also lately, and I need to try to do better as well. Don't be so forlorn, because others have those nagging moral and emotional dilemmas to deal with also. It's part of being human. It's a roller coaster ride sometimes. But you do have to be tough enough to deal with it.

Many people are wrong about shoes but refuse to address it. I’m just trying to practice as I preach.
Not really forlorn. Just admitting my fault.

Speaking of shoes, the Xtratuf boots are what I've been using lately. Flip flops, and those deck boots. They really are the way to go, for being out on a boat. That's pretty much a thing around here lately. It used to be the crocs, and now it's these slip-on deck boots.

I still use a good ole fashioned boat shoe too. The Sperry kind.

Riz, you will be disappointed to know, that as an American, I do not eat hamburgers.

I'll eat chicken and fish sandwiches on a hamburger bun, but I do not eat ground beef hamburgers. It's just one of the things that I can't explain. They just turn me off for some reason.
