Castaway MMA v2.0

The grip at the top was incredibly useful. You could really get some force on that when you were pumping versus the standard stick. Made a big difference.

I think I had to get rid of it because it was becoming a liability in the dating market. Girl goes in to the bathroom and sees an industrial strength plunger by the shitter, well, that just sends a message they're not ready for after only a date or two.
Speaking for myself, a plunger in a (clean) bathroom of a man I'm on a first date with is a huge plus.
It tells me, when he makes a shit impressive enough to photograph and send to his friends, he also cares about cleanliness to then dispose of it, rather than flushing it every few hours or days until it eventually clears.

The photograph, not the actual shit...

Ending up in a guy's home bathroom on a first date? Niiiiice.

Have family visiting this weekend. My sister and parents. Doing what I can to entertain them.

I took them out around Lake Okeechobee scouting for ducks, in different areas that I go to. They enjoyed that.

We ate out at a couple restaurants and did some cooking here at the house. And drank some wine.

Taking them up the Kissimmee River tomorrow (on my boat) to a place that is really good for catfishing. Every time I go there, no matter what time of year, I catch catfish. They will enjoy that. Maybe have a fish fry on Saturday, if we get a cooler of catfish tomorrow.

Everybody shits, and I love Mexican food.

I now realize why the old site was so broken. We started this site about 6 months ago and you wouldn't believe how often I have to patch things up, both the Xenforo main software and the add-ons, our hosting company, etc. I'd say I have to patch something at least twice a week. I opened dozen of tickets, both with Xenforo (our software) and Knownhost (hosting company). A bunch of times, it wasn't because something we did, but corruption of a file or something alike. I don't have to open tickets that much theses days. I learned so much about the software in the last 6 months, it's crazy. I'm now very comfortable managing it.

And then, there are the error logs. I can wake up, log-in and see 100s of pages of errors in the server logs. Most of the time it's minor but some times it's major. And I have to fix those errors and then completely clean the logs. I also have to rebuild some database from time to time.

Basically, it's a lot of maintenance but very manageable by 1 person. Which they didn't do at the old site.

But, hold on, the old site JUST UPGRADED their version of Xenforo to 2.3 (the same one we use). So, they did take action months after we moved here. They had a really old version before that. Now, will they maintain like before, ie, do almost nothing or will there be more pro-active? Who knows?

Btw, they still didn't back the FORUM tab on their main page.

Anyway, the advantages we have here are that we're in FULL control of the software and WE make the decisions. We also added a bunch of very useful add-ons, some you're aware of and that you can see and some others that are under the hood adding extra performance and value to our site. Besides, at the old place I couldn't have been able to add the TFF and IJFL tournament app.

And to be very transparent to you all about our "under the hood" add-ons, here's the full list. Don't hesitate to ask questions about the add-ons you don't understand or if you want more clarity:

If I never said it before, thank you so much for keeping this ship afloat.
