If he ever wins a belt it will be by split decision.

A fight between Diego Sanchez and Cathal Pendred would be like dividing by zero.

I don't think he will ever even get close to the top. His grinding style will not be enough. 4-0 in the UFC but still on Fight Pass. That alone tells you what kind of figured he is.

From the front page:
Cathal Pendred
(17-2-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) extended his career-high undefeated streak to 12 fights. He hasn’t suffered a defeat since December 2010.
Pendred has earned 10 of his 17 career victories by decision. He’s never lost a fight that’s gone the distance.

OK guys, I have to be honest… I'm from the future. In 5 years Pedred will known as the undisputed GOAT.
Ive been keeping that pic to myself for quite sometime… but I cant keep it a secret any longer...

Seems like the perfect match-up for CM Punk in the UFC Intercontinental Championship

Clearly going to be a two division champ, WW and MW! He's just that good he makes his opponents look mediocre in comparison.

Cathal can only beat what's put in front of him. I think he was maybe shown up by being on such an exciting card at 188.
Interesting to hear his post-fight interview that he was frustrated by his performance and that he feels something is missing from his game. I've watched a lot of his fights, a lot of them mentioned in the opening post from his Cage Warriors days, and although the guy got the wins in those fights, his performances always seemed so laboured. There's a lack of athleticism and explosiveness for me personally that makes his fights very long, drawn out affairs.

Pendred should fight Lawler/MacDonald winner. He beats both by split decision

Would be more fair to allow Lawler and MacDonald to fight Pendred at the same time. Trust me.
In 2017, Pendred took on Chris Weidman and Rory at the same time in a Welter/Middleweight title unification fight. It was a complete bloodbath. The first double KO in UFC history. Chris immediately retired after the fight. Rory was never the same… Im risking a lot by giving away that information.
