It was a 1-lock regardless of who I picked. Neither guy is someone I would be confident in gettin the job done

I was taking Jorg in this one,Cejudo can't even win a fight against a scale where's he's on an 0-3 skid.I thought maybe he pulled out with a tummy ache again but it was the weight.

What makes you think Jorgy would have wrecked him? Jorgy has been on a steady decline and has shown that his defensive wrestling is not that great. Cejudo could have taken down and held him down for 3 rounds. Jorgy would have only had submissions on his side and if Cejudo went for a lazy single he could have been got in a guillotine. Also Jorgys chin is not there anymore. He has been hurt bad in his recent fights and against guys who aren't known for their power. s--- he almost got knocked out by the Gremlin lol

Jorgensen does leave his chin out there lately and gets hit a lot more but still his boxing was way ahead of Cejudo and I find it really hard to believe that Cejudo would be able to control Jorgensen for most of 15 minutes. Scottys sweeps are top notch and he has some slick bjj.
Scotty almost got knocked out by Gremlin...a guy who wings them like a madman and has 8 ko wins, no shame in that.. How about Cejudo who almost got KO'ed by Elias Garcia who...well yeah.....

My thoughts exactly. Cejudo be gone. Betting he is cut before he fights. I dont even know why he was signed.

Hes a Gold Medalist and they wanted to get to him before other Orgs. What I don't get is why they made his first fight against Jorgensen.

His opponents combined record is 19-40. He missed weight twice before tonight and no showed another. I dont think he has the dedication to do it. And you can be an Olympic Gold wrestler but that does not automatically mean you have better MMA wrestling. Scottie was a Pac-12 wrestling champ, has experience and though he has lost lately he has lost to good fighters. I agree it was a bad match up for his first fight.

That matchup is a win win for UFC. If Henry wins, "oh he's an olympic athlete and hes legit, he beat a former title contender and a savvy vet"
If Henry loses, "oh, he's inexperienced, and Jorgensens a tough out. Henry will rebound, he's an Olympic athlete"

Or they can just match him up with another debuting guy, then another low level guy and another and another and when he has big hype around him as the olympian who destroys guys, give him a higher level guy. Undefeated is always the better look.
