Well, it's actually been researched that a bigger percentage of people in Finland have internet than in USA or Canada so trying to imply that we aren't advanced (Newsweek even ranks us among the top 3 countries in the world in quality of life, education etc) is pretty dumb.
Oh by the way, not only do we have running water but tap-water is drinkable in all parts of the country. And we are a major exporter of clean water.

I know it was a joke. I wouldn't put it past someone who read it to actually believe it though.
I've just heard "do you guys have internet over there?" or "what cars do you have?" too many times when travelling abroad and having told people I'm from Finland. Sometimes people really are that dumb so you never know.

just like the $30 per month level of internet is extremely slow in USA, and normally has a ?GB cap. For that same price in Korea, the internet is like 20 times faster, with unlimited usage.

The day the Canadian gouv (& society)will be as open minded and respectable toward other States as Finland does,this laptop I'm typing on will be in a museum!!!

We're about as close to the pole as Alaska. We have the Gulf Stream giving us warm air though. In the summer we usually have temperatures of over +20 celsius (over +68 fahrenheit) and winter days are usually around -10 (+14 fahrenheit). Summers are equally warm everywhere but winters are freaking death in the northern parts.
