5:20 et time they are saying. Can not wait for this lol. Should be pretty entertaining. If you want to make a payday ... after Jones defeats Machida and Chael defeats Forrest ... this fight will happen and have another large payday for Sonnen. Jones should be thanking Sonnen,.

I just wrapped an interview with Chael for a new episode of UFC Tonight. Look for it on FUEL TV later today! He. Was. Awesome.

LOL at Chael Sonnen calling someone else an "entitled brat."

Great interview.
Thought Chael was going to cut this promo, but actually talked sense.
Is Chael turning out to be one of the most liked MMA fighters?
I never was a fan of Chael, but I can appreciate this guy for just wanting to fight.

Best point from Chael is that he wouldn't have trained at all for this fight and Jones has been preparing for months to fight that day. ESPN lives for this kind of s---, if they continue to run with this story from this angle it's going to be bad for Jones. "Just Do Nothing"

I have to admit, that a lot of what he said made sense, but what's his motivation?

You honestly believe Chael hasn't been training? Do you think he hasn't been training with Hendo? Don't you think he probably knew Hendo was hurt even before Dana White? Hasn't he been trying to talk his way into a title fight with Jones already?

Chael campaigns for fights, he doesn't choose them.
His motivation is to be loved. He knows it's a business and knows how to appeal to the fans. He is the villain when needed, and he's the hero when needed. Right now he's just being likeable.
Chael hasn't been training to fight a specific style or person. Bones has been training to fight a wrestler with a right hand. If anything, he got an easier fight from a training perspective.

That's exactly my point. This dude is campaigning for a fight, not earning in the octagon, not even in a division he's participated in for almost 7 years. And not against just anyone, against the Champion.
And so what that he hasn't been training for a specific person? Usually when you aren't training for a specific opponent you're working on everything, or at least the areas where you have holes in your game, unless you don't give a s---. But to say he hasn't been training is ludicrous. I'd bet everything I own that Sonnen has been training with Hendo right now! Jones on the other hand HAS been training for a specific fighter, no doubt with a specific gameplan. So who really got the easier fight?

He hasn't been training with a focus, let alone a focus to handle a freak like Bones that has incredible physical assets. When you're not training for a person you do everything, not what you need to beat your next opponent. So of course he has been training, but he's still at a major disadvantage from every aspect.

You realize you just reiterated what I said, save simply drawing your original conclusion right?

The difference is you think that a generalized training camp is the same as training for a fighter, as to where I think that they are in no way similar, and Sonnens training frequency is significantly lower, and his specialized training is non-existent.
