Officers arrested Chris Leben on suspicion of operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant Tuesday. He was released from custody after posting $1,000 bail.
Police say Leben was driving on the west-bound side of the H1 Freeway just before 2 AM, when he lost control of his pickup and crashed into a wall near the Kapiolani Boulevard off ramp. He was allegedly driving without a license and without insurance.
He is scheduled to appear at Honolulu District Court November 22.

Why are still putting you faith in people? People are human and they make mistakes.
How many other spots athletes have gotten a DUI in the middle of a season? Due process need to happen first and Dana need to do nothing about it.
this will not effect chris' career in any meaningful way unless he's going back to drinking habitually.

I love all the dudes in here defending drunk driving like it's no biggie. Wait 'til someone you love gets killed by a drunk driver and see how you feel about it then.
I respect Leben as a fighter, but with the roll that he's been on he can only be an idiot to throw it all away for a fun night. Total moron. I hope there are serious consequences for him. Drunk driving is unacceptable.
I doubt he gets cut. I think he gets some time off, and goes too rehab and then does smell sort of community service involving speaking about the dangers of drunk driving.
I think for sure he doesn't get the TUF coaching upon he lobbied for.
This sucks, very irresponsible thing to do by driving under the influence and without a licensee. Instead of crashing into a wall he could have crashed into another vehicle or a pedestrian and killed someone, he was doing so good too this year with wins over Simpson and Akiyama.

I just think it sucks worse cause it IS Leben. Everybody knows dude had major issues, troubled past, and serious addiction problems. That's why it was so good to see him doing well. That was part of his story - that he had turned it around and overcame all that crap. Now this happens. That's why it's such a bummer for me. Reminds me of Chael getting popped for roids after his amazing performance. Just tarnishes everything. Alcoholism is such a sneaky, cunning, baffling, powerful SOB..

Yeah it is sad. Glad no one got hurt. We hate to see people self destruct.
Finger wag at Mr. Leben...hopefully this does not effect his standing in the UFC or his fight with Brian Stann. I'll be waiting for a Junkie article with some Dana White quotes in it to get a full grasp of the situation at hand.
