2 fight win streak vs contender coming off a loss makes enough sense to me when the contender off a loss is still a favorite to win. They want Claudia to fight for the belt IMO so they will give her fights with people off wins to make her run back the belt more legit/quicker

Exactly what fight would have made sense for Gadelha? I can see Namajunas making more sense, however, I doubt the UFC would want either one of those woman to be guarenteed to be on a 2 fight losing streak.

he Irish strawweight has been matched up with Claudia Gadelha for the first UFC event on Polish soil.
Daly (15-5), who was a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 20, will be brimming with confidence for this bout after her stellar first-round submission victory over Alex Chambers in her promotional debut. She enters this fight coming off consecutive stoppage victories.
Gadelha (12-1) comes into this bout off the back of her first professional loss. She was defeated by Joanna Jędrzejczyk in December, after a controversial split decision went against her.
The Brazilian fighter was also invited to be a part of the TUF 20 cast, but she opted out of the show to avoid cutting weight repeatedly.
UFC Fight Night 64 will kick off on April 11 from the Krakow Arena in Poland. It will be headlined by a heavyweight rematch between Gabriel Gonzaga and Mirko Cro Cop

Wow, Shelby actually booked a 115lb womens fight. More surprising than Silva failing a drug test.

To be fair, when the whole strawweight roster practically fought on the same night, its going to take some time to medically clear the fighters to be able to get booked again.

Most of them are cleared to fight, and there are other fighters in the division who haven't fought since before TUF Finale.

No I'm not. They were all ranked I know I get it but this is just my opinion that possibly the best fighter in the world is getting Daly. Like I say I like her which is why I probably don't wanna see her get humiliated cuz I can so see that happening
Whatever! Don't care anyway. Fights a fight so I'll drop this.

The TUF finale was 2 months ago. Most fighters on the UFC roster wait longer than 2 months to find out when their next booking is. I don't find this as odd, but that's just my opinion

Sure, but there are other fighters in the division that have gone even longer without being booked. They've got fighters like Jo Calderwood practically begging for fights & she's being given BS excuses from Shelby, claiming a Commission won't let her fight most the girls because she's too experienced.

Daly better make weight . . . the UFC's not having much of that these days and it's a big leap to the next division up.

She's Irish, UFC won't care.

This is most likely true. Angela Hill I believe wanted to take a fight with Calderwood. Plus the whole commission nonsense is ridiculous seeing as how the division has less than 30 fighters of which I think at least 2 have long term injuries.
