Mark Coleman has been impressing me with his last few fights. He Handled Rua in the first and then ran out of gas, and he gave Bonner a hell of a beatdown. And i believe he'll be able to take Tito out either by TKO or UD. I think, however crazy this sounds, after one more fight against a solid contender, he might be ready for a title shot.
And he might even have a chance against the mystery of the Machida. I can possiblyyyyy see Coleman using his brute strength and size with his pretty good speed and smother Machida to the ground and get a TKO or ground out a descion. Now this an unlikely scenario, but the point is it could happen. If it was to happen, which is pretty crazy, it would prob end in a KO or UD Machida. But suprisingly i wouldn't mind watching this LHW title match.
His only losses in the last 9 years have been to Fedor, CroCop, Big Nog, and Rua. He has only been really (T)KO'd twice and from a nasty headkick and a Crocop beatdown (he mostly just passed out from fatigue in his rua fight
)
Yall think he can get a title shot? And somehow insanely pull out a win?

I think Ortiz is going to stomp him into retirement.

First, I had Bonnar winning the fight against Coleman. IMO, you have to do more than lay on someone to win a fight. Coleman also looked totally tired against Bonnar and I can't see for a minute how his conditioning will win out over Tito. The pace that Tito will set against Coleman will win the fight by itself.
However, if Coleman did beat Tito and fought Machida, there's no way he can go 5 rounds to squeak out a decision. He simply doesn't have the cardio.

Nothing would be better than Coleman beating the crap out of Machida. Hopefully Tito presents no problems for him, but he will, Tito will be in good shape for the fight and if his back is OK, then it'll be like two dinosaurs fighting. We haven't had that since Jurassic Park.

man Shogun Gassed Not Coleman. Shogun was still pretty much handleing him like she should have. To mention Coleman to fight Machida is just plain Dumb. If he beats tito let him fight Rashad or Vera. Vera is going to end up fighting Machida sooner or later!

lets say he does beat tito which IMO he wont! Let say he fight Machida and within the first 2 rounds Coleman will be out done in every part of the fight possible including wrestling. Machida and Gegard mousasi are the two best LHW i have ever watched the who most complete LHW ive seen I just think there is only 2 men at 205 that would beat Machida. 1 Gegard and 2 Brandon Vera. Vera would out strike Machida. Vera would do some good to work on his wrestling and BJJ.

No offense, Chase 316 , but Mark Coleman better be a firm believer in John 3:16 if he steps into the cage with Lyoto Machida!
If Rashad Evans couldn't put a hand on him, Mark Coleman certainly isn't! At this stage of the game, to say that Evans hits harder and is faster, quicker and more well rounded than Mark Coleman is like saying the sky is blue or Brock Lesnar is strong..... there is simply no denying it! I would even dare say that this is one of those fights where even the infamous "punchers chance" gets thrown out the window!
I see Machida making Coleman look more foolish than AS did Forrest. And that, my friend, is mighty damn foolish. Just my opinion, though. I could be wrong.

Dont count Coleman out yet I think he wants to be the next Randy. You know he is training like an animal for Tito and tito has had alot of time off. Tito can do 3 things.
1.He can come in a new man with his back surgery done and dominate.
2. He can come in and squeak a win by.
3 He can lose and Coleman gets a win and a huge upset.
Since its been so long since Tito has fought i lean towards 2 and maybe 3 but hey i could be wrong he could come in and be a beast.

Vera outstrike Machida? Whaaaa....
Are you smokin rock son? The same Vera who was beat by Jardine, the same Vera who couldn't finish Sos, who took Reese Andy to a D, who lost a D against Sylvia, the very same Vera who was pounded out by Werdum. (Regardless if it, the stoppage was early or not, he didn't answer those shots back.) Is this the B. Vera we talking bout? If so, you're definitely smoking rock! Machida would make a Vera fight finally enjoyable, by leaving him half dead on the canvas.

Wait....because Mark Coleman out wrestled Stephen Bonnar....that means he could possibly beat Machida? Coleman won't make it out of the first round against Tito and he would get KO'd during the stare down against Machida.
Coleman has no more future in MMA.
