Ogle is the perfect "next" opponent for Conor, it's only his 2nd fight in the UFC, and Andy is not an easy out, although I believe Conor is the real deal and will fight for a title in the future

It's obvious isn't it, give Conor a handy victory so he can headline a card in Dublin next year

I doubt they'll have someone with 2 fights headlining a card.

I can see him possibly co headlining a main event. Conor might of only had 2 fights in the UFC by then, but he was already a bit of a star in Ireland, only the die hard fans would've heard of him world wide, in Ireland most have heard of him, so it'll make sense IMO.

Also, for people who think he should be fighting Akira, Ogle lost a pretty controversial decision to Akira. I thought he won that fight which makes me think this is a better fight for Conor. Especially since he is coming off the Grispi win which whether Grispi has sucked lately or not, he was in line to fight for the title at one point. Akira's best win was a solid, but unproven Robbie Peralta

By the time they set up a Card in Ireland Conor will have had a few more fights under his belt (Hopefully) and you better believe if that's the case, co-headliner at least, especially if its a Free card. It's only natural that the Irish will come out in droves to support their Hometown Hero a lot like the Brazilians, who may have the most loyal fan base, I think it's a no brainer

I was just making a reference someone with less than 2 fights in the UFC can get Co-Main or even main...Mousasi
Blind Patriotism will argue everyone here to the ground why he should be main event,
but in reality he would get first fight on the Main card or Feature fight on the prelims

He'd undoubtedly be on the main card, but there's no way the UFC is going to have a televised event headlined by Conor McGregor any time soon.

Another couple of electrifying wins under his belt and they would be CRAZY not to put him as a co- headliner at least, especially in his Home Country. It isn't like it's gonna happen right after the Boston Card

Ogle will fight like he has nothing to lose, because he doesn't have anything to lose (except his consciousness) so that could make things interesting. It adds a bit of pressure to both guys, since Conor is expected to destroy Ogle.
Despite that, Conor has handled things like this with no problem before, and I'd fully expect the same thing here.

That's the beauty/curse of Hype, on the good days you live up to it, but sometimes it comes back to bite you in the A$$! Eventually Conor may lose, but even then, I expect he will come back with renewed passion and determination to eventually be called Champ! (Yes I'm an official NutHugger)
