Not sure how much I believe that Silva said they want to set that fight up, could be more of Diaz getting attention for that fight. But, man, the lead up to Nate v Conor would be amazing as would the fight itself.
I'd feel bad for Frankie, Aldo or Dos Anjos, but Nate v Conor is an easy fight to hype and would sell very well.

Why? Frankie could fight Aldo for an interim FW belt, and RDA can fight Tony Ferguson. If Conor loses, then he comes back down to fight the winner of Frankie/Aldo for the FW title, and if he wins he stays at LW to fight RDA.

Build up would be fun but that's about it, don't see the fight being competitive. Overall doesn't make any sense to have this fight before Frankie or RDA.

I hope not. They'd be holding up the FW division for a meaningless fight at LW.

Eh. Aldo already cleaned out the division. Conor cleaned his clock...do you really think Conor is gonna be a FW fighter for much longer anyway? He says he wants to do both but I highly doubt they let him. I'd think his coach is giving him some good advice on what to do which is move on up to the LW division. I guess we will see what direction he's going real soon.
As far as this particular fight goes? I'd be surprised if they make it now but then again why not? It would be a damned good time to say the least and at least it wouldn't be happening after a loss like big bro has capitalized on time and again. You gotta admit it's a pretty fun Fight on paper.

Be a good fight for Connor to get his feet wet at LW. Needs to fight Frankie first though.

f--- that.
he should jump right into the fire and fight RDA. As much as I'd like to see Nathan and Conor mix it up, I'd much rather see him and RDA get down.

I can see Nate trying to talk his way into this but, no... no thank you.
I want to see Conor defend against Frankie before entertaining anything @ LW and he's already got the champions attention. I would think that would be all we'd be talking about post fight night is that the 155 champion is game to fight him in ireland, brazil, wherever and that's actually a fight I'd love to see.

The transitive property does not apply to cleaning out a division.

I take back feeling sorry for Dos Anjos. He still has opponents and it's not like Conor was a longtime champ in his division where getting an immediate title shot at LW needs to happen.
Aldo/Frankie I still feel for. One was knocked out very quick and with how long he had the title, it's only fair to get a rematch(if you consider how UFC loves their immediate rematches) and Frankie has done everything possible to get a shot at the strap again. Pretty much why I would feel bad for those two.
That said, I did say I like the Nate v Conor fight. It may or may not be the most competitive, but it's a money fight and those are important as well.

Not competitive because Diaz will win easy?

This fight makes no sense at all and do not believe it will happen at least not yet, no way the current FW champ vacates his belt to move up and fight Nate fkn Diaz.
