so I'm watching the new CSI and they go to get a suspect from the "Supreme Force Fighting Championship" fight. They actually call MMA Human c--- fighting while praising boxing as the sweet science. The suspect is a roided out psycho who just ripped a guys arm off with his bare hands and the fight is taking place in some poorly lit dirty warehouse with a crowd of "degenerates" yelling at the fighters and waving handfulls of money. This kinda s--- just pisses me off. 10 years ago it may have been understandable but on the eve of one of the biggest events in MMA history this is just unacceptable. CSI is still the number one show in the U.S. and it's just perpetuating this idiotic stereotype. WTF,man! :x :x
o.k., done bitching.
Oh, and Sokodjou was fighting in the "cage" now I'm not a fan of his either.

Yeah I did, but they actually had one one of the detectives as an amateur fighter and said they were the best athletes in the world. God Damn CSI just don't get it.

CSI is science fiction. that is, they make s--- up and pass it off as science.
It's also bad for the court system.

I don't know about you....but when i have my boys over to watch the fight we watch it in my dimly lit basement thats dirty and smelly and we all have fist fulls of dollars while yelling at the screen. I guess that makes us "degenerates". :lol: j/k
CSI takes their storylines from a mix of real stories, and the rest made up..and the fact IS John Mccain did refer to mixed martial arts as "human cockfighting". He has since recanted (ironically after budweiser became a sponsor of the UFC and his wife Cindy is CEO of the largest Budweiser distributor here in the southwest).
Not to mention.....its a TV SHOW!! Let it go dude.....no reason to lose sleep over A TV SHOW!!!
(did i point out that ITS ONLY A TV SHOW???)

Thank you. Somehow I don't think the New York State Athletic Commission members are watching CSI to determine whether they should sanction MMA in New York. "THIS is what MMA is like? Guys actually rip each others' arms off? There's no way we're making this legal in our state!"

10-TV is a form of entertainment & a gateway to news & events....please treat it accordingly
