Don't really seee your point, given that Anderson made his debut against Leben. Same can be said of that fight, as well. Silva entered that fight as a relative unknown to the majority of casual fans. Leben is the perfect opponent for Le, but it's not a good matchup for Leben. Le is a serious threat, every bit as dangerous as Silva was to Leben. While different, they both share similiar qualities that pose a threat w/ Lebens brawling style. Le could fight Anderson tomorrow and it would be a competitive fight. While Leben may have a hiigher ranking, at the moment, the same thing cannot be said of Leben.

nice. this guy can't be active too much longer. a matchup against leben would be good to see before he exits the sport. belcher would be nice too, but obviously he already has a matchup on the way.
