Honestly, the matchmaking on this UFC on Fuel card is stellar.

sadollah is not a easy win. I hope he does not look past him because he will be upset.

It would appear that Dan Hardy wants to take his rise back up the Welterweight rankings even slower than any of us thought.
Amir Sadollah didn't even come to my mind when thinking about potential next opponents for him.
Definately a weak follow-up match for Dan Hardy to take on a fighter who his last opponent basically outclassed.

As he should. Another loss makes him 1-5 in his last 6. To give him any opponent rated higher than Sadollah would be unfair, in my opinion.

he is lucky to have a job..........so he should take any fight he can get. Add in that he will never be anywhere close to top 5.........hell top 10 again. He shouldn't even have been top 5 in the first place......just got lucky with the fact that GSP was a dominate champ and they needed a challenger.

He's 1-4 in his last 5 fights, this is exactly the type of fight he should be taking.

How have you guys not thought of/considered Amir? I've seen hundreds of posts/twitter messages calling for this match for at least a year.

I didn't even consider it. Hardy by 3rd Round TKO. Shaping up to a solid card.

Sure GSP needed a challenger, but Hardy wasn't a bad challenger at the time. He had just beaten Marcus Davis (8-1 in the UFC at the time) and Mike Swick (9-1, and 4-0 at WW) not to mention Gono and Markham.
Both Davis and Swick were on a tear when he beat them, regardless of what they did later in their career's. He deserved a shot.
Back to the fight though...
Hardy's power will probably be too much for Sadollah, but I honestly wouldn't sleep on Amir here.

Seriously they're awful. They both lose, and when Amir wins, its by brutal unanimous "snore" decision. Why are they still in the UFC? Other than suckers from the UK that like Dan... and Amir, well, straight up smh on that one. He should of been gone years ago.

...Coz there good guys that come to fight man(Win or lose)...They can't continue to lose and still be kept on, that's barmy, but Hardy has a decent fan base in the UK(good for the UK Market for the UFC) and Amir is the nicest of guys that has a ton of heart and still learning...
I can think of worse guys that could be cut for grapple fuking everytime and not very well liked either(but still lose)..

I care enough to complain. Hopefully this isn't a headliner is it?!
It's just ridiculous how the UFC keeps guys like Hardy around and cuts the newer guys, probably with better overall MMA skills, first. It's all about the moola right, they have pumped a lot in Hardy and Sadollah. Sadollah is as boring a Jake Shields and he rarely ever wins so again, why keep him around? Answer... because they've spent big $$ marketing this guy. And now we get stuck with 2 guys who shouldn't be in the UFC. Dana and co. are juicing them for every last marketing dollar possible. I don't see this as a relevant fight at all. Shouldn't even be a co... maybe prelims.
