I was at a local MMA event in NEPA supporting one of my friends who was having his fourth fight.
The whole place was pretty dark at the begining of the show but when they started bringing people to the ring I noticed this gigantic referee.
And at the same time me and my friend turned to each other and said that looks just like Dan Miragliotta .
Turns out it was. I know he is a ref and not a fighter but I am a huge fight fan and it was nice seeing him there. He was the ref for every fight that night(13 of them)
Before the pro fights started there was a break and we got to go see him out in the lobby and my friend got his pic taken with him. He was a real nice guy even though he was talking to a friend of his
he had no problem taking some extra time out to talk to fans.
He's always smiling, seems like a real friendly guy. What was that he said to Paul Daley? "What the hell are you doing/thinking"? I cracked @ that. I never drool over ref's but always took a liking to DM, and not just because of NJ.
