Another good one. I wouldn't really call it Dark, more just a hardcore dude. I guess Dark for him trying to bury his demons. A lot of nostalgia in this one.

How was he like?
Exactly as you'd expect. He was happy to take pictures with people, and when he saw my beer he said (well, more like growled) "where'd you get that, you fucker" in that Don Frye voice. I said there is a beer booth right over there, but he couldn't leave his spot (it was the Arnold Sports Festival and he was working a sponsor booth), so I went and got him one, lol.

I just watched the Phil Baroni one last night. That was really sad... that guy is the poster boy for CTE for sure. He had brain damage and continued fighting for years after. What a mess. Now he's in a Mexican prison for murder. What a fucking life.
The Mayhem Miller episode was good but there's been so much about him already it was just kind of rehashing all his stories. Only saw the first half of the Don Frye one but that was a good episode too.

In fighting? Because isn't he successful professionally? Yeah there's so many more people from the early ufc days that would be better suited for a show called dark side of the cage.
I agree entirely. When I saw they were doing a "Dark Side of the Cage" about Don Frye, FFS, I thought to myself "they have definitely run out of material for these shows."
The Chael one was pretty lame too; so he got busted for 'roids? Wow, how outrageous for a professional athlete! That never happens! (BTW, so did the "hero" of the episode, Silva, three times, but they fail to mention that entirely.) Got in a fight in which no charges were filed? OK then, I guess most of us have a "dark side" lol.
These are more interesting as biopics and interesting horror story, but in the last couple when they tried to go all "dark side" on us, the material just isn't there.
