A little bit about Jotko from his UFC bio
TRAINING:
My day begins about 8am. I get up, eat breakfast, and go to the first workout for an hour with my wrestling coach Robert Roszkiewicz, three-time champion and All-American in 2002, 2004, 2005. In 2004, he won the NJCAA National Championship at 197 pounds. In the evening, I do boxing training with a very good coach, Zbigniew Raubo. He has trained boxers such as Krzysztof “Diablo” Wlodarczyk and Maciej Zegan. After my evening training, I go home, eat dinner, and go to sleep.
When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started training MMA five years ago and it became my passion. I was watching one on the UFC events when Tito Ortiz was fighting Ken Shamrock, and at that moment I just knew what I wanted to do in my life.
What ranks and titles have you held?
I’m a two-time amateur champion of Poland, in 2011 I got an award for Discovery of the Year by Polish MMA portal.
Do you have any heroes?
My greatest hero in this sport is Tito Ortiz because he is the reason I got into MMA. I also like Robbie Lawler and one day I would like to train with him.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
UFC was a dream; I didn’t believe it could come true, just like the NBA is for a basketball player. But this dream came true, for which I am very grateful, and I will prove this was a good choice.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
No
What was your job before you started fighting?
I was working part-time as a welder – metalworker.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition?
Amateur record 65-5
Ranks in any martial arts styles:
BJJ brown belt
Favorite grappling technique:
Brabo choke
Favorite striking technique:
Nothing favorite

Hopefully Hall will feel like his back is against the wall here and actually perform in this fight.

The fact that, that is always the kind of motivation he needs to perform well is so sad

I don't think it's motivation at all....I'd say it's more a case of over-thinking things when he's in there. He just needs to let loose and trust his skills.

I so badly want Hall to live up to the potential that he's shown but sadly at this point I tend to doubt that will ever happen. I think Reckin007 is probably right. He seems to be overthinking things out there, which is causing hesitation, delay and a lack of fluidity. Dude just needs to relax, let his training and natural ability take over and let the hands, feet, knees and elbows fly. Stop thinking and just fight!
