Did anyone read the Dan Severn interview in Fight!?

I was curious of opinions on what Dan said in the interview when talking about his fight with Royce Gracie. Basically saying the fight could have ended much differently...but he was disgusted when he looked over and saw Helio shake his head at Royce, that he wouldn't throw in the towel. Stating that Helio would have let him kill Royce before throwing in the towel...and leading on that that might have affected how Severn fought the rest of the fight. I'm a huge old school "Beast" fan...but I'm not sure where I stand on these comments.

I read that interview and I wasn't too sure about how I felt about it. I looked at that part twice and just kind of shook my head and shrugged. I still don't know what to think of it.
