maybe,
was like when Silva made a complete fool out of Forrest he was never the same after it
I think huge losses especially if you get KO'ed can change a person mentally for a long time.
but then again Look how Cain bounced back? first ever fight on FOX also his first loss in the round too.
just really depends on the person

I think it was just the way the fight played out, he is also trying to be a striker, got discouraged from the takedown defense. He also looked smaller than he usually does and rusty. Then wasnt able to outbox an olympic boxer....
STYLES MAKE FIGHTS.
I think Machida shook him up pretty well. He was pretty shaky against Silva and Rampage, using a wrestling heavy gameplan, but started dominating again VS Ortiz and Davis. He gets his Title shot and eats so many shots that he starts looking like the Evans that fought Machida again. His entire expression changes. I don't want to say it's fear but I don't know what else to call it. He started making the same face towards the end of the Nog fight. It's possible he has lost the will to be champion again.

All i can say is Rashad is a bit more cautious. I wish he would fight alot more like he did in the griffin and ortiz II fights. Actually going after his opponent and bring the fight to them.

Its not fear, its doubt.

this whole olympic boxer s--- is kinda stupid. if someone had told me little nog just started boxing i would have believed them.
i saw nothing from him that made me think for a moment he was an elite strike. jab straight jab straight
Combination of things - I think he had some ring rust after a long layoff. I don't think he has people pushing him in training like he did at Jackson's. And yes, I think he doubts himself more these days.

Boxing is for the Pocket, MMA is not. Its hard to throw combos and just punches at that. A jab, and a good one should be applauded in MMA.
100% YES.
The only guy Evans looked good against was Tito because Tito's striking sucks. Every other guy he has fought tentatively and put in shitty performances (albeit wins). The Rashad that faced Forrest/Liddell has been gone for a long time now....and its all because of that KO.

Discrediting Rogerio's Pan-Am boxing skills is honestly more stupid. If someone is letting you jab them in the face all night why would you overcommit and risk getting taken down?

I feared for that. He just had to look at what Brilz, Bader, and Davis did to Nogueira. Thankfully he just wanted to know how many times he could high five a guy in 15 minutes.

That is how I told people it would play out. Bader and Davis won with wrestling so I assumed Evans would follow.
