I drive about 20 minutes when I leave from home, about 40 when I go straight from work. Hitman were you referring to the Lions Den in CT?

I drive 20 mins, but thats rush hour traffic here in MKE. Usually a 10 min drive without traffic.

I train in the same town as the Lions Den, I go to Modern Self Defense Center in Middletown. It's a Roy Harris school. I've trained with some the coaches they have at the Lions Den when they ran their own schools and wasn't impressed. Frank Latina I think trains there but doesn't teach anymore but he's a really cool guy. Other than that it's not great. I know Underdog BJJ in West Hartford has really good BJJ but I don't think they offer striking classes. I'll pm you the link to my school, you should come check out a class.

yeah man maybe i'll come by sometime. i dunno if i can train full time that far away. thats about 70 minutes from my work and 90 minutes from my house. the gyms in boston are even closer than that, being like 45 minutes away and in boston theres wai kru, boston muay thai, florian martial arts (sityotdong too, but thats a lil over my head haha) and some others. we'll see tho. my dilema is that my gym wants me to sign a 6 mo. contract to take like $145 outa my checking acct once a month or pay the whole year upfront. those are the ONLY payment options they offer. the only other gym in the are charges like $165 a month and i hear they pretty much suck. i cant sign the contract because as some know i have some medical problems which may re occur and stop me from training for weeks at a time and i am not gunna pay that kinda money wether i train or not. i personally think its bulls---.

I travel about 35-40 minutes to train at my gym (even though I live less than 5 minutes from another one).

Easy way to explain it to them:
"Hey, don't you do UFC?"
"yeah, I hear that you do NFL!"
