i think he could. he would be a monster at leightweight, his speed would cover for the lost 15 lbs, so he would still have plenty of power,maybe more at 155
I think its possible because when GSP beats his *** again i think Kos will come to terms that he cant beat him and drop down to LW or maybe move back up to MW, who knows !!

True, if Edgar beats Penn again will they call for a rubber match or will they come to terms that Penn's dominance has ended.

If Edgar wins the next fight then BJ should not get another shot for at least 2 years maybe more. 2 wins should be enough to solidify the fact that he is better than Penn.

I doubt he could he hasnt been that light since he was a jr in high school,but if he did he would have to be more versatile cause there are some very good wrestlers at 55.Edgar definitly has better hands,I would love to see KOS and BJ fight at a 65 catchweight once there both champs.

He might be able to get down to that weight, but I highly doubt he'd be the same fighter.
I think thats way to big of a cut for him to take without him being affected (i.e. cardio, strength, ect.)

Rubber match? That means that each fighter has one a fight and there needs to be a third to final the score. If Edgar wins again there's no "rubber match" to be had. Edgar will have beaten Penn twice and will have no need to fight Penn again - period. As long as Edgar is champ I don't think Penn should get another shot after this one.

Once Kos realizes he's hit the glass ceiling at 170 when he loses to GSP, he'll make the cut to 155, because it's the popular thing to do. The "I can't win a title in such and such division, so I'll cut to the one below and dominate" mentality is way too rampant in mma. The thing is, I don't think he can beat Penn, Edgar or Florian either, so he'll be staring at two glass ceilings.
