Renzo is a fun dude w\ his interviews and what not. But honestly, he hasn't fought in how long? He's not a top contender in the UFC. Go watch Hughes vs Serra. I've watched that fight 3-4 times thanks to UFC Unleashed on spike and I don't see how you can score the win for Hughes at all.
Hughes got KTFO by alves, and I really doubt he could beat any of the top 5-6 170lb fighters in the ufc.

The loss to Alves makes me want to see him go against another top 5 guy first. And I'm not sure he'd want another fight with GSP. He seemed to know he had no answers for GSP in their last fight.

Hughes should not get a title shot until he faces one of the AKA guys. They've been calling him out for ages, they're near the top of the food chain, and they are certainly a better test for a title fight than Renzo (as much as I like Renzo). I'd like to see him against Swick, I think it's a game match.

Hmmm. A new poster, named "thedooshnozzle", thinks Matt Hughes defeating an unranked fighter puts him in the mix for a shot against a champion that already beat him soundly, twice. My spidey-sense tells me this thread is going nowhere.

Two returned trolls, but maybe not who you thought.

The answer is YES.
He should automatically get a title shot, imo

This one was DrKillbyDeath/ShakenBake, also banned today.
Both new accounts are gone.
