1st Fight - Brown scores a quick TKO after Faber's unorthadox striking is exposed .
2nd Fight - Faber breaks his hands and goes the distance with Brown , overall Faber's stand up looks much tighter and Brown couldnt get close to stopping the fight !!!!!
So the question looms does Brown have Faber's number ????? , can we read a lot from the 1st fight and would Urijah have stopped Brown if his hands were not damaged .

I think there's a good possibility that we could have another Hallman/Hughes situation on our hands where one guy just CAN'T for the life of him, figure out how to beat the other. But, I'm one of guys that thinks the second fight would have gone much different had Urijah not injured his hand.

I think Uriah can beat him, not easily but he certainly is capable of it. I think the broken hand did play into things in the second fight and maybe Uriah could have eeked out an decision without the break but I think Mike's strengths are better than Uriah's. So IMO they are pretty evenly matched, i wouldn't mind seeing a third fight.

Completely different circumstance. The Hallman/Hughes situation was crazy because Hallman would get beat by other, lower class, guys. MTB is beasting everybody he fights. I mean, Leonard Garcia is one helluva fighter. He beat Curran as well, another awesome fighter. And, he's beat Urijah twice. I understand that Urijah broke his hand in the second fight, but that's tough s---. This is the fight game, s--- like that happens all the time. Joe Riggs broke both his hands and still put a beating on Baroni. MTB has beat Urijah twice, and he's the best 145 pound fighter in the world. Dennis Hallman was never considered the best 170 pound fighter on the planet..

What gets me about the second fight is that Brown couldn't finish it even with Uriah hurt. I think a third fight would be in order after Uriah fights Aldo or someone else. But without Brown finishing that fight, I would say he doesn't have uriah's number.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't it come out that Faber actually broke both hands in that fight? And he won the fifth round, with at least one broken hand so no, Mike Brown does not have his number.
At this point, is Brown the better fighter? Sure, he is 2-0 versus Faber. They will fight again.

I believe that this is a great matchup. Both of these guys are excellent fighters. Because of the outcomes of the two fights, with nobody really dominating either one, a third fight will be in the near future. Especially since Faber is still a crowd favorite and everyone wants to see him back on top, including me. I can't wait for the third fight
WAR FABER

yep,
brown has got his #
uriah can beat him but brown wins 4/5 times if it came to that.
brown is one of the few underrated champs out there.

+1 . Brown is the champion and has beaten Faber twice. What he needs to do to get a little support from the fans.

I think Faber can beat Brown. But I think out of 10 fights Mike gets 6. Having said that I think up against the rest of the fighters Faber has a better chance. If there is to be Brown vs Faber III it if should be after more that 1 more win for Faber. I'm thinking 3. But If some one should beat Brown then Faber should probably get a shot at the new champ sooner.

I say if Brown smashes Aldo, ad faber wins his next fight, do the third fight betwwen the two. Faber has what it takes to beat Brown more than any other FW in the WEC.
