Yvel a star? No way dude, and yeah loser is likely going home unless its an amazing FotN caliber type of bout.

I doubt the loser gets cut.

I think loser will most definitely get cut. Neither guy has any chance of competing for the title. Rothwell not the most exciting fighter either, and Yvel is just done dada.

As do I. Either guy is a good veteran to have around for future stars to face off against.

I'm not really sure how this fight made it on to main card portion of a UFC card.
Not that it might not be interesting, but neither are really relevant, both coming off beat downs to solid prospects, but beatdowns none the less.
Having Rothwell on the main card was a huge factor in not wanting this to be my first UFC event. I was happier when he was outside the UFC.

Griffin-Dunham > Rothwell-Yvel
At least we still get to see both fights but absolutely Yvel-Rothwell is a go home fight

I really hope Yvel can get the win, hes like a 'bad-boy ' character and exciting fighter who throws wild knees, punches and kicks, hes at the least you always get value with him etheir being subbed or KOed or him KOing someone. As for Rothwell well to me he might probs win this fight but hes like a typical in the year 2000-2002 unathletic big heavyweight who decent but will probs never come close to a title shot or be as exciting

I think if Rothwell loses, he gets cut. He was no where to be seen in Milwaukee. Bad idea if you ask me.

I would like to see both have another crack regardless of the outcome on Saturday.

A poor performance from Rothwell and he could be cut. Yvel will get another chance regardless. A good fight and nobody gets cut.

true but i think griffin-dunham has a higher possibility of being exciting enough to prompt people who weren't gonna buy the ppv to buy it. hopefully yvel wins because i'm not a big fan of rothwells style.

I think so as well. To the UFC fan Gilbert and Ben are nobodies. To MMA fans there pretty big.
