Dong Hyun Kim revealed that he has many superstitions involving MMA. He told the audience that he never wears the same colored shorts as the ones he wore to fights he’s lost.
Kim also stated he earns 107,000 dollars per fight in the UFC and that for every win his salary is raised 4,000 dollars.

I think it's great for him. The UFC get a lot of abuse for the pay the give fighters, I think it's always interesting to see how much UFC fighters say they actually get paid.

I'm a bit surprised he makes that much. He's not really a big draw (outside of Korea), and does not have a crowd pleasing style (to put it nicely)
I dont have a huge problem with it though. He's been around a long time and has a good record, and he's been in the hunt for title contention for a while now

The last reported pay for him I could find was 41k base/41k bonus @ 141. He's had three wins since then, so it would be 53/53 now. That puts a win at 106k. Is he saying the 107k is his win pay, renegotiated contract, or is this a clue to what they really get paid?

Comparing him to some better fighters I would have to say it's too much. He's a strong fighter though that's gonna get better, so it'll be warranted eventually.

Wow, I'm surprised you guys are being so positive. I always thought there was alot of Asian Hate on these boards
I like DHK, but some of his fights are boring. However, I'm sure he is very popular in ASIA, not just Korea. So I'm sure he deserves this much, and then some.

A lot of fighters make a very nice living even though their reported pay may say otherwise. Quite a few fighters jumped out of the woodwork when it came to that behind the lines(or whatever) episode on ESPN.
