Pardon me, brock has never started these hype wars, It was Herring who first started it by stating Lesnar to be WWE star who dont deserve to be in the cage with him, and Lesnar answered by bullying him 15 minutes, then Mir was bouncing his jaw against lesnar, again lesnar replied to him, he doesnt want to do that, Couture didnt try to bully lesnar in Media even he could have since he was the most known fighter Lesnar ever would face, and he was coming back from 1 year layoff, media was running after him.. what happened, Lesnar stayed quiet, they gained mutual respect and they are friends now. Carwin probably has the same mentality, why wake up the sleeping bear, he is fearsome enough without it.

Don't recall all these situations specifically, but it sounds pretty accurate.
I imagine Lesnar is probably pretty focussed. Carwin is the most dangerous opponent has had to face and Lesnar has had to do a LOT of work to do to get back into shape and regain strength. It was only a few months ago he wasn't sure if he would ever fight again, hell I think there was a time he was not sure if he would live.
Wow i'm impressed.....most people defending brock...good for you. Brock does not talk smack until someone else starts it. Herring is an ***.....Mir is an ***.....but Mir is at least a funny ***.
People get caught up in the WWE past too much......most of them I wonder if they know its really fake because they seem to think Brock is the same as his WWE persona. The man got paid millions.....who honestly wouldn't do the same and then he turned it down to try real sports....football and then MMA. Seriously who can't respect that?

It is the perfect example of a fight to not bet on. The odds either way won't justify putting money down... either man could win and it won't be huge surprise.

I wouldn't be surprised if either guy won, but I don't see Carwin "smashing" Lesnar even if he wins. As for betting on this fight it might be worth putting a liitle on Carwin since he will be the dog and Brock did have a serious medical condition.

I'm with you on this. I am a big Brock fan, but if Carwin does win, its not like I will be sitting in shock (like, when Edgar beat BJ, or Machida beat Rua).
And, Brock only runs his mouth, when someone starts first. Notice how Herring and Mir got their asses handed to them, after months of poking the bear. Of course, there were no handshakes or anything after those fights.
Couture said very little about Brock, and after the fight, there was a show of respect between the two. Heck, I even have heard about Couture training with Brock to teach him a few things.
