Japan is calling out to Kimbo. It's the perfect place for him to score a few more big pay days in MMA if that's what he wants to do. And considering the history of African-American fighters becoming mega-stars in Japan -- see Sapp, Bob -- Kimbo might be just the ticket to kick start an MMA revival in Japan. Here's hoping.

They like larger than life personas over there. I kinda like Kimbo and always have he just isn't on the same level as the guys in the UFC. He needs to fight guys that will stand and bang with him until he learns more (something,anything) groundwork.
is the perfect place for him, i hope he stays in MMA, dream can give him some cans so he can take a couple of wins, and i hope SF takes a look at Kimbo too, the UFC play very smart his card with him putting in the same card with shogun vs machida, now everybody is talking about shogun, Kimbo can make that alot of people watch the event and more will be watcihng others good fights, a card with kimbo vs canseco or Walker and in the main event a fedor fight will be a high ratings for sure for SF
As much as I became fond of Kimbo over the past year or so, if you put him against anybody that is above can-level, he is in trouble. He can't take a leg kick, his cardio sucks and he does not have a good chin. He also has sub-par striking.
I'm saying this as a fan....hes just not that good.

Just read on the frontpage that Minowaman is set to fight a 300+ lbs guy in some upcoming DREAM event
But Kimbo surely qualifies as "Hulk" and a potential matchup for Minowaman

It would take 25 seconds, tops, for Kimbo to get subbed.
Sapp would be better. There's always a 50/50 chance Sapp will either pound someone, or get pounded, roll into a ball and cry like a 4-year old girl until the TKO is called.
Kimbo will never be a good fighter, because he has no ground game and antique knees. Anybody who's watched his fights and is going up against him should just blast away at his knees, wait for him to buckle, get the takedown and pound him out. I feel sorry for the guy actually, because he's really nice but has that glaring physical weakness: his knees are toast.
I hope they pay him a fat check like they were after his stint in Elite XC. Sure there are more deserving fighters out there but whatever I like Kimbo.

Somebody had to say it.... for all the talk about his "power" and his "heart", he folded like a cheap lawn chair after 3 leg kicks. the Japanese fans can have him.
