Right now he's the top dog in Bellator, he makes good money that way and has the ability to take fights in Japan. He has stated 2 opponents he knows are ahead of him are Aoki and Penn and has the desire to fight both.
There's a pretty good chance he will some day fight Penn. But for the life of me, i don't know why SF hasn't jumped in and tried to scoop him for a rematch with Aoki or even against Melendez or the Punk.
Seems to me that the top guys in Bellator(namely Lombard and Alvarez) are pretty content where they are making good money the way they are.

I agree that Strike Force should have stepped up. There is quite a bit of money flowing into Belator now so maybe they were just able to out bid Strike Force. Belator has snagged some pretty good names of the last 6 months. Hornbuckle is another that I wish had gone to Strike Force.

Agreed. I would also have liked to see Strikeforce get Askren. I dont know much about him but supposedly he is the next big thing.
