His last fight was pretty exciting
The whole Edgar getting what he wants is getting old. What happens when Cub whips his a$$? What will he do then? I'm pretty sure crying will be involved and Dana will give him a welterweight title shot against GSP......sounds about right.

I define exciting as a lot of engaging and action. Which there was plenty of during that fight
saw in an article that Swanson wants to stay active and not wait for a title shot. props to him, cause nowadays everyone wants to jockey for instant title shots after 1 win or 2 all while fighting infrequently and keeping divisions at a stand still. and Swanson is right there for a title shot along with Lamas who needs to get another fight asap, unless he's next up for a title shot.
as far as Edgar, well I don't think he should be lined up in top contender fights and potentially knock off the next title challenger. he's just 1 fight removed from his loss to Aldo. fans should get a break from Edgar in title fights. he should fight 2 more times against top 15 guys like Gamburyan, Koch-Poirier winner. and once he's got a win streak (3 wins) have him fight a top contender that's out of title contention like Mendes, or Hioki. then a #1 contender fight.
This fight should have happened at 162.
The safe pick would be Edgar but Swanson has fast hands and has the ability to put anyone away and I would not be surprised at all if he stopped Edgar.
How any MMA fan doesn't think this is an awesome matchup needs to turn in their card, cause this is exactly how true contenders earn their shots at the strap. Beating the best

What the f*ck is with people saying Frankie isn't exciting? The guy has 7 FOTN's, a KOTN, and a FOTY
I believe that Swanson could get the KO on Frankie, I reckon Cub even in a lower division has more punching power than Maynard, who had Edgar on queer street..Frankies heart, conditioning, chin and toughness got him through that fight.
I think Edgar wins a decision here, but like against Aldo, he will be under some pressure in the first 2 rounds against Cub.
