Have you guys ever heard of him? Supposedly he's this major tough dude who sings for the band 'Oxbow' but he fights people for fun on the side. He was on the radio out here this morning promoting some book he wrote called 'Fight' and he claims that he's fought Frank Trigg, Frank Shamrock, Jake Shields and a handful of the Gracie's but I have never heard of this dude before. Can anyone educate me?

This is me. I make no claim to be a tough dude. I just get my *** kicked by tough dudes. You doubt I've done this? Check out my book Fight: Everything you ever wanted to know about *** kicking but were afraid you'd get your *** kicked for asking...it's got pictures of me doing the things I "claim" to have done.
or pick up past issues of Grappling magazine. Or Real Fighter. Or Gladiator. Or facebook.com/eugenerobinson. Or tom'w at 10:30 in Milpitas where I'll be training with Cung Le.

Damn, sounding a little defensive, there, Eugene. The guy had some honest inquiries and didn't know if anyone from this site knew anything about you. I didn't find anything disrespectful about his post at all. In fact, I'd never heard of you and immediately checked out a bunch of sites that had info. I might have even bought your book.

you know, as well as I do, if you know anything about how fists work, that the use of words like "claims" and "supposedly" will get your *** kicked in 90 percent of the bars in America, hahah....i never said it was disrespectful. i just thought it was sloppy and if he had done what you took 5 minutes to do, he'd have been able to drop the "claims" and "supposedly" and just gotten around to asking if anyone knew me.

Eugene and it was one of the best radio interviews that I have ever had the privilege to listen to. He is a very down to earth and honest man that WILL stand behind every word that he says. After listening to the band Oxbow, I have to give them 3 thumbs up as well! I love this type of music, it prevents me from sleeping or getting too bored when I do homework. It really speeds me up. Positive begets positive, & negative begets negative. YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK. Need proof? Thank you Eugene. Positive also means no negative person/comment gets allowed to take up real estate in your mind. Since changing my mindset, I don't allow them to affect my vibrations, which has allowed me to become successful in all areas of my life. By paying it forward, it allows me to give back so much to so many! but mma is the most intense sport ever really you think thats the most intense sport ever i would rather watch cricket then this f----- *** bull s--- but no wonder you think that with a name llike oxbow you must be a total f---ing retard

Yeah, well I'd fight you in a bar any day of the.... Nah, just f'in with ya. Bet you get that a lot, though. As to the part in bold, gotta agree with you there, if info was all he was really looking for. I think he mostly wanted to start a dialogue about you. Which isn't a bad thing, per se.
Anyways, about your book. Great reviews. Ordered it off Amazon a few minutes ago.

I could pull the classic internet poster gimmick right now and totally pretend that I'm a lot tougher than I really am and verbally berate you for being so defensive about my first post, BUT, I'm 6'2, 150lbs and that's not really my style. I just heard the interview on T&R and had never heard of you before so I turned to my MMA brethren first to see if anyone knew anything about you. i cruise all the sites all the time anyway. just to stay current for MY radio show on combatmusicradio.com. but i'm only moved to post when my character is called into question. which SHOULD BE just about ALL the time, haha...just not about fighting [do not lend me your car, money, or have me spend too much time with your old lady..that is: either your wife OR mother]....that i never bulls--- about. and cool that you heard the show. and that i didn't seem like too much of a tool.
