Well i was going to start a thread to help my in my new undertaking of golf but figured I would have it cover anything new that anyone wants to try out instead. So pretty much this thread is to come and ask questions, tip or for help on something new you may want to try or were just curious about, wether it be sports, intellectual, artistic etc etc, you get the point.
So anyone that has golf experience want to give some tips/pointers/advice to a newbie in the sport? Just bought a set a beginner clubs.
Thanks!!

You can shave about 100 strokes off your game by heading straight to the 19th hole.

Ok i got two tips for you. First if you can take lessons this will save alot of time tryin to figure out your mistakes. Second and this may sound odd it did to me but i heard two pros say the same thing recently. When your first startin out try to hit the ball as far as you can and then work on accuracy. The second tip is gonna go against evrything most people will tell you but those guys are pros for a reason so i beleave them
