Is this even a thing? I think the Brazilian faithful bring bad karma to events. Shouting "you are gonna die" to every non-brazilian is really disrespectful. I was elated when they all had to shut the fitch up with Werdum going night night. Attacking Matt Brown and their overall behavior I thought was not cool. I am a karma believer and thought it was poetic justice.

Brazilians won ten of the twelve fights last night. They must have some good karma!

Exactly. Karma didn't beat Werdum either. He did that by fighting like a dummy.

Sure. Stipe had absolutely nothing to do with it....
Maybe not karma, but I will say that after the relentless vIciousness over the internet that was unleashed on Rousey since her lone loss, it has made mma pretty satisfying to watch all the top dogs getting embarrassed and finished since. Holm, Aldo, Weidman, Werdum, McGregor, etc.

yes but the one for a title, the one the Brazilian fans wanted the most, they had nothing to say.

Stipe punched a chin off a silver platter. For sure Stipe was more capable of beating Werdum at his best but that fight Werdum made it real easy.

I don't think that there is such thing as "fan karma" impacting matches on the same card. That's rather ridiculous.
What I do think could happen, is non-Brazilian fighters might be very reluctant to accept spots on Brazilian cards in the future. That would be karma, for sure.
If I was a fighter, I'd demand (as an American) a good 20-30% more to show up in Brazil to fight. I don't need to get getting punched in the back of the head by "fans" while I'm walking to the Octagon, that's bush league.
When I played competitive sports for school, I LOVED being the away team. It got my juices flowing. I wish I couldve heard "VAI MORRER" while I shot free throws.
