Such a great fight. Ugh, I love Almeida but I on paper I gotta go with Sterling. But the x-factor is Sterling's ego. If he chooses to strike with Almeida from the get-go he'll get tuned up. That accumulated damage would affect Sterling as the fight would progress. His takedown attempts would be slower and more predictable while Almeida would have Sterling's rhythm and distance figured out. If Sterling keeps to his bread'n butter, he wins. If he overestimates himself, Almeida busts him up for 3 rounds.

I don't know, but I think within 5 years or so these two will be at the top of the division and fight each other for a title at some point. Maybe a rematch of trilogy of fights by that time

I really don't know, and thats exactly why it needs to happen! I am a big believer in both of these studs, I could see them both getting separate opponents as to not kill either as a potential future contender so early. They're both exciting young fighters. I am not too familiar with Almeida's ground game/ wrestling. Does anyone know which belt he holds in BJJ?
