What was the most drastic jump onto a bandwagon you've ever seen?
Personally I think It was Paul Daley... Literally NO ONE was giving him any thought before the Kampmann fight (I had a sneaking suspicion it would end that way, Even though I'd never heard of Daley before, I just had a gut feeling
)
Now, people are including him in the list of top welterweights, someone even said he had the best hands in the division (which might be true, but we haven't seen enough yet.)
Some other ones could be Carwin (which I have participated in) JDS and Cain, and for the fastest jump OFF OF a bandwagon, I'd have to say AJ.

I've never seen a bandwagon empty faster than Machida's and he won the fight for crying out loud.

One of those UFC guys, huh?
Paul Daley is a Muay Thai world-champion. Best striker in that division BY FAR. Especially since Duane doesn't really actively fight in MMA any longer.
I've watched Paul fight for quite some time. Everyone who knew Paul knew that if Martin stood with Paul that Martin would be going to sleep. So, I don't know why your are acting like Paul came out of nowhere.

I believe I was shooting for people that knew nothing about him (like me) are now hyping him up. A line from Performify's Picks for the Daley/Kampmann fight:
While Kampmann likely has a slight-to-moderate edge in striking
... doesn't sound like everyone thought that Kampmann was going to sleep.
And, as much as I try to deny it, I am "one of those UFC guys," if by that you mean "guy whose favorite mma is in the UFC," and not "guy who is blind to all other MMA."
I'll watch any MMA I can find, but I'll definately watch it if it's free... that's why my main source of MMA is the UFC and WEC, due to Wrekcage and Unleashed, and not Strikeforce, as I lack premium channels.

Paul Daley deserves his praise! Kampmann is a typical UFC hype-product, good fighter but not a true title contender like the UFC was grooming him to be, Paul Daley's win was no surprise to anyone who's seen him fight before.
Biggest undeserved bandwagon going to Todd Dufee! The guy knocks out a C-level HW and all of a sudden he "devastating!", for all we know he can't go more than a round without having a heart attack, ease up..

Joe Warran, I think it was only on Junkie because of that story they posted on him, But I've never seen a 2-0 fighter have so much hype behind him.

But it wasn't Machida's first UFC fight, he had fought multiple times before that and looked good. His bandwagon had been going on for some time before that.

Yeah, but the numbers tripled after that fight, his bandwagon was quite small because of how "boring" he seemed.
After that KO, people were all over it.

there was a huge leap from the Tito bandwagon to the Chuck bandwagon after their first fight - but I don't think it was anything quite as drastic as some of these other examples.

I honestly think that made more people HATE Brock, then actually like him.
That, and the 2nd Mir fight. More people wanted to get rid of him for what he did, then actually support him as a fighter.

Nope, there were a few people picking Daley. Best stand up fighter in the WW division.

Houston Alexander...the way he destroyed his first two opponents people were buzzing hardcore about him, but after his next loss it was over just as quick as it began.

Everyone's on the Matt Brown bandwagon big time after his impressive performance at 105, also the Pat Barry bandwagon after 104, and (back on) the Vitor Belfort bandwagon after 103. I personally am big time on the Stefan Struve bandwagon. People say he's not big enough to be a HW but he weighs almost 250 lbs -- it's because of his height. At 21 years old he's very young and I think is only going to get better, much better with time.

Bisping..He was getting so much hate for a long time but after he TKO'd Kang it seems like he has alot more fans..
