Yes, and if you don't play rugby, soccer or football professionally, you should avoid wearing jerseys, hats, t-shirts, jackets, scarves or anything else.

Those sports don't make apparel that generally looks like it was conceptualized by a team of meth addicts and is worn almost exclusively by douche bags. If you wear Affliction or Tap Out gear you might as well grow a chin strap and tattoo "douchebag who is soaked in Axe body spray" on your forehead.

Thats how I used to feel about anyone wearing MMA apperal, nowadays I don't really care. I myself wouldn't be caught dead in a Tapout, Affliction, etc shirt but I no longer judge those who do, mainly because of what Cardio King wrote. It would be hypocritical of me to bash guys who wear MMA gear but look sideways at someone who says grown men should not wear football jerseys. I am not going to stop wearing my Redskins gear because of what others think so I am sure someone is not going to change his wardrobe for it either.
The only MMA clothing I have is a pair of Tapout shorts that I only wear when I am training Muay Thai. And I have two shirts, one from each of my dojos.

It is kinda true though.
Team sports gear (esspecially jersey's), are kind of silly looking on aldults (the older/fatter the worse).
Team hats, meh. It really doesn't say much as it is so ingrained in our culture.
Some stuff, basketball jerseys in particular, are sort of a fashion (ghetto maybe, but nonetheless).
Well into my forties, I don't rock jerseys anymore (personal choice).
I have a mets/rangers cap.
Gotta wear a hat when it rains etc.
My 1&1/2 yo daughter has tons of clothes/bibs with rangers/mets logo's
That is all from male friends who wanted to get her sometging(lol).
All her aunts etc. buyt her the cute girly clothes.
MMA gear, on top of just being plain ugly is just kinda lame.
The people who wear them,...whatever.

Btw, you're racist,...
Redskins (smh)
