Just wondering what everyone's favorite moment in mma is, mine is definitely Anderson Silva choking out chael after losing the first four rounds
Honorable mentions: Shogun vs Lil Nog, Nick Diaz's gogo on Gomi, Big Nog knocking out Shaub in Brazil, Cro Cop at Final Conflict 2006, Shogun vs Hendo

nothing comes close for me. i was there live, anderson is my #2 favorite of all time, it was my first ufc event, EVERYONE in the arena traded on anderson and started chanting U-S-A, everyone but me and the guy next to me. anderson choked him out, i went nuts, i have never high fived anyone so hard in my life.
worst mma moment ever: being there live when Fedor lost to Werdum. cant even explain that feeling. i just sat there and stared into space for a while.

When GSP had Dan Hardy in the arm bar, and you just knew Dan knew GSP was going to break it, but Dan refused to tap. If you look closely at Dan's face while this is happening, you can totally see the instant he made the decision to not tap and live with the result. He got like a real calm look on his face and just prepared himself. That was so cool. I've never seen a more impressive display of heart and courage. I was a lifelong Dan Hardy fan - and MMA fan, for that matter - from that moment on. For me that moment encapsulates what is best about the sport, which the height of heart and character that these guys display from time to time.
Great question, by the way.

I have to say, I missed out on Silva / Sonnen because I was still pissed off at Anderson Silva for his antics against Demian Maia in his previous fight. I promised myself after that bout that I would never again pay $55 for a pay-per-view that included Silva. Needless to say, I've relented on this since. But I missed what by all accounts was one of the most amazing fights in recent MMA history. Oh, well.

Oh there's so many for me, most of which involve Anderson.
(in no order)
Anderson choking out Chael - the stress leading up to the fight combined with how the fight played out gave me the most gut-wrenching feeling, the finish was so exciting and was the perfect ending. Was watching with an anti-Anderson group, I was so distraught and pissed and disappointed, the joy that I got the moment he slapped on that triangle and I saw the tap is unrivaled.
Anderson front kicking Vitor - had some friends who don't watch MMA over was hyping how good Silva was, a couple griped that Silva hadn't thrown a single punch, I had to explain how he doesn't waste strikes, the BOOM, out of nowhere front kick to the face! Nuff said. Also the staredown with the mask was awesome.
Fedor vs Cro Cop - just the excitement of these two HW BEASTS going at it, the fight delivered pretty well.
Anderson handing Lee Murray the torn piece of Brazian flag after beating him
Anderson tooling Forrest - was watching with a few Forrest fans who legitimately thought Forrest had a good shot. Was hillllarious!
The excitement of Chuck fighting in Pride, and him tooling Overeem
Big Nog vs Randy - just two true legends of the sport going at it. Two godfathers of MMA, like Yoda vs Palpatine style.
Edgar's crazy comebacks against Gray
There's many more, especially older ones, but these are the ones that stand out right now.

Trigg vs Hughes, the nutshot incident. Classic*
UFC Rio - Aldo vs Mendes... Enjoyed the Entire Crowd that Night...
Worst Moments Vitor Vs A.Silva

Given my piss-poor memory, I have to say something recent since that's the only thing I can recall at this moment: Justin Lawrence's head-kick KO against John Cofer. f--- that was beautiful.

Chael dominating Anderson
Bj beating Hughes the first time
Aldo jumping into the crowd in Brazil
Hendo knocking out bisbing
Cain beating Brock
Shogun knocking out machida
Any time chael punks Anderson - nothing compares to the ultimate bully being bullied.
