I don't think he's just point fighting. He is also obsessed with Anime style KOs. I also think he's quite psychologically compromised. Some pretty big red flags lately but these things are very much addressable. Hoping he turns it around in this final fight. He's been set up to fail and he's obliged. Only an unlikely KO here against a height GOAT keeps him in UFC I guess. Where you at @John8204

I will break it down soon. Please remind me. I'm currently writing a psych thesis in a different area and I'm frazzled by the whole project but MVP has noticeable traits of attentional control deficiency and possible challenge/threat imbalance on occasion.
It is not outright debilitating like in the case of Kevin Holland because MVP seems to have strong growth mindset but he is hamstrung by his refusal to address these performance issues that have bugged him in UFC.

"you gotta go back like 6 or 7 years and into an inferior promotion for that homes". I doubt it. I think he still believes that's his route to success in UFC and he didn't want to go to MW coz it's even harder to KO those guys.

why doubt it? his last TKO was in bellator in 2023 via leg kick (his final bellator fight). Then a Dr stoppage TKO in 2021. Then a KO in 2019.
I think my numbers are just fine. As well as the assessment of his former promotion. UFC fans are asking for him to take some risks and he doesn't seem to be into that. He's 4-1 in his UFC run, all 5 fights went to the cards.

Joaquin Buckley meets Mike Malott in UFC Edmonton main event

Mike Malott is getting a shot at the top 10.

On Tuesday, the UFC announced that Malott will take on Joaquin Buckley in the main event of UFC Edmonton on Oct. 17 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Your numbers are perfect. Jiz's love affair with MVP blinds him to reality. He's usually pretty realistic about fighters, but his bizarre obsession with MVP is slightly disturbing.

that's why I'm gonna let @Trig know, in writing, that I quit.

this game has had negative effects in my day to day operations. today I got stuck in the toothpaste isle assigning confidence points to crest, Colgate, sensodyne, arm and hammer, tom's of Maine, mouthology, and like 6 more. So I'm done, if y'all see trig around tell him I quit.
