Any predictions on who is going to be awarded before they are announced?
I say:
Submission OTN - Maia
Knockout OTN - Dan Hardy
Fight OTN - Sanchez vs. Stevenson

I would give Marquardt/Gouevia the FOTN
Maia the Sub
and the KO is hard, it could be Dunham or Thiago or Hardy, all very good ko's

Nate should get KO OTN. That was brutal

Diego Sanchez, Joe Stevenson, Paulo Thiago and Demian Maia each earned $40,000 "fight night" bonuses for their performances at "UFC 95: Sanchez vs. Stevenson."
I'm surprised Marquardt didn't "officially" get anything. I thought that fight was the most entertaining and that the Ko was probably the best as well.

The final flurry starting with the knee was ridiculous.

How the hell did Snachez/Stevenson win that? Nate/Goveia should have got FOTN. Plus Nate should have got KOTN, with that Killer Instinct type combo.

I agree with the awards...Kotn could have been a toss up...While Nates fight was entertaining and great end.It wasn't FOTN..Diego and Joe earned it with 3 rounds of exchanges. And that decision was good also

I personally don't think that Thaigo Paulo deserved KO of the night. I personally felt it was a bad stop, and Kos was shocked but defending himself.
After a spinning roundhouse, followed by a spinning back fist, followed by a vicious hook, I really feel Nate deserved KO.

Hardy should of got KO of the night IMO. The Paulo/Kos fight was stopped too early.

I dont know... the problem is that the ref was very close and very quick to come in and stop the fight when Kos went down and his eyes turned to the back of his head, Kos then had an apparently quick recovery, but the fight was already stopped.
Thiago himself stopped and didnt go for the kill, that he would have done if the ref didnt promptly step in.

Maia definitely deserves fight of the night. Actually, he always deserves that honour.
Thiago's knockout was unconvincing and a premature stoppage - the only thing deserved here is a lay-off for the ref and a rematch for Koscheck.
The main event was the most boring sparring sessions seen in a fight not involving Machida. Machida is a genius hit-and-fade guy, something these two weren't. What I saw was a guy who hasn't evolved fighting a guy a couldn't finish said limited fighter. Undercard material at best, developing new talent etc.
Hell, let's give Maia fight of the night as well - that was an incredible takedown, and I liked his message that you can win without doing harm. He's an incredible guy.

FOTN is supposed to be for the best fight, not the longest, right? I watched the Sanchez v Stevenson fight - what did I miss? What elements made it better than, say, Maia's win?

Yep.
punch, knee, kick, kick, kick, spinning backfist, punch - Nice little seven strike combination.

How do people think Kos's stoppage was early, when he clearly wasn't coherent and flailing about with his arms and rocking trying to get stable? Paulo seen his eyes rolling around and he quit seeing it wasn't worth jumping on him.

I need to correct my post.
It was actually a nine strike combination.
Punch, Flying Knee, Head Kick, Head Kick, Head Kick, Spinning Backfist, Punch, Punch, Knee to the head! Nonstop!

I'm praying to all things holy someone has a camera angle that allows that combo to be gif'd into SFIV vs. Sagat. That would be the most epic .gif ever.

I really dont think Paulo would have been able to stop Kos, had he got on top I think Kos would hold on to him and just rest himself.
Very suprising fight, lets see if Kos goes out swining like that in his next fight

Or it may have turned out similar to Lindland/Belfort where one guy throws a bunch of unneeded to punches to a down and out opponent that causes one of the fighters to have to go to the hospital.
