1.5 million is a massive amount, outselling the biggest UFC PPV, and being in the top 5 or so of boxing.
I agree, it's likely worth the gamble (since lets face it, even if Conor only made $15 MILLION it's still a nice payday), for everyone except WME. What do they get out of letting Connor do the fight?

Floyd sells record PPVs because of his self promotion. Conor sells record MMA PPVs because of his self promotion. Combine the 2 of them promoting together and 2 different audiences to pull from that are already used to buying PPVs (MMA fans and boxing fans) and there is no way this isn't the top grossing PPV.

I dont see anyway it doesnt come close to if not pass Manny vs Floyd. The promotion leading up too it would be off the charts.. Manny can barely speak english and that foght was both fighters past their prime. Big easy $ for Floyd and a lifetime payday for Connor

Manny had every single filipino American and the whole Philippines buying that PPV. Not saying this PPV wouldn't break a record, but it would be close.

The way boxing works is that the 30% would be Conor and Dana's cut. Each fighter has their own promoter, and pays them out of the cut.

Floyd would have a good chance at making close to his 100 to show, but he would rather not fight than to concede an equal share to McGregor. That's why this s--- will probably never happen no matter what DW throws out there.
I'd rather see him fight Khabib/Ferguson winner anyway. It's fun to hypothesize
