Yes!! I have been saying this since i heard Strikeforce was being absorbed. I think he would have done well at LHW but hes gonna r*pe people in the MW division.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing him against either the winner of Rockhold/Belfort or a little bit lower down like Belcher/Bisping just for the stylistic aspect of all 4 potential fights

Love the decision by Mousasi. He is undersized for 205 and fits much better at 185. He got away with it in SF and DREAM but he has a much better chance of success at 185 in the UFC

I just saw his twitter. Looks like he's considering it. I say only do it if you can diet down to 190, then cut 5 lbs. That would be the best way for Mousasi, and I think he will do that. I do think he can compete at 205 though.

I believe he did it because he wanted too. Wanted to get to HW, Read that a few years ago. Mousasi at either 185 or 205 is a BAD day for anyone. But i believe Jones is more beatable than Anderson. JMO.

A drop to 185 should result in a title shot after 2 fights, maybe even just one. He might not beat Silva, but it should be a helluva matchup.

He kept putting on muscle, and it got harder and harder for him to make 185. But I suspect that now that he's in the UFC, he can afford a high-level nutritionist to help him get down to 185 without a struggle. He only weighed in at 212 when he fought at heavyweight, so he's definitely within range of middleweight.

Why? He was middleweight champion of DREAM. He was pretty successful as a light heavyweight in Strikeforce and became a champion.

Also was Strikeforce paying him chopped lvier? why couldn't he afford a nutritionist there? He was there champion.
