From what I've read, they both have their pros & cons, but most considered OLED the best choice unless playing in a bright environment. I'm gonna be upgrading soon, and I honestly think you're not really missing out much with either. QLED is the cheaper option....

OLed 8k wasn’t a thing when I bought my tv it was only Qled

Yip but at the time it wasn’t it was the new buzz word roomer mill was the ps5 and Xbox series x would be putting out 8k so I pulled the trigger on a 8k tv for them coming out only to find out that they wouldn’t run 8k and what 8k native content that is out there is complete massive in terms of size

Never mind thought still got a grate upscaler so everything still looks better than it would in 4k
