GENESIS 3: ROUND 2 FALLOUT
ROUND 2 WRAP-UP
London delivered the fireworks, and Round 2 of the GENESIS 3 Grand Slam officially tore up the script. The O2 Arena was the backdrop for one of the most miraculous, razor-thin team victories we've seen in the league. While T6 (Four Horsemen) continued their absolute reign of terror by effortlessly crossing the 1,000-point seasonal threshold, the real story of the weekend was the clash between 4 RONIN (T5) and the Can Openers (T2). Down a man due to a brutal weight-miss zero, T5 was on the brink of disaster—until an MVP masterclass (
@kylesid
), flipped the entire board. That 455 was exactly what was needed to steal the victory.

TEAM TO BEAT
Four Horsemen (T6)
Unbroken and unchallenged. The Horsemen are operating on a different frequency right now. Not only are they sitting comfortably at the top with 4 VP, but they also have
three
of their four roster members sitting inside the
Elite 5 "Killer of Kings"
bracket. They are a suffocating force.
MOMENTUM SHIFT
MVP Bonus: kylesid
MVP Impact:
This is why you never clock out early. The Can Openers (T2) posted a massive 447 TP base. T5 (4 RONIN) had 445. It was a guaranteed loss until kylesid’s round-high 161 triggered the +10 MVP Bonus. That bonus pushed T5 to 455, snatching a 2 VP victory from the jaws of defeat by a mere 8 points. Legendary carry job.
Team Depth (Iron Lung Implications):
The Four Horsemen (T6) just showed us what optimal roster construction looks like. All four of their players scored 152 or higher (Trig 159, CD816 156, Phatphil88 155, JaySumz 152). In a "Best Three of Four" format, having your lowest score be a 152 means your Iron Lung candidates are breathing pure oxygen.
Heartbreak:
Spare a thought for the Can Openers (T2). They posted the second-highest score of the entire round (447) with a beautifully balanced attack from MMAFTM13 (156) and Kumason (147), only to get walked off by the MVP bonus. They drop an L despite playing championship-level GENESIS.
Survival:
4 RONIN (T5) survived the ultimate handicap. Ufcfan_1 posted a 0 due to a weight miss, meaning the remaining trio had absolutely zero margin for error. MrAllen (144) and coreymb (140) held the line just long enough for kylesid to drop the hammer. Meanwhile, Salt & Peppa (T4) drops to 0-2-0 and remains firmly in the Seppuku Watch danger zone.
