Since when is using your feet to roll out of postion when on the bottom grabbing the fence. I cant remember which fight it was but the ref was telling the fighter to stop grabbing the fence with his hands and "feet". Does anyone now which fight it was, should be one of the final 3 they showed. Does anyone know the rules on this? It happens all the time when the fighter is pushing off the fence. Did any of you here or see this?

It was Stojnic. I remember him grabbing the fence a lot and being warned about his hands, but not about his feet.

Maybe he was clenching his toes around the fence. You're definitely allowed pushing off the fence.

Stojnic was warned about his feet like directly after the warning about his hands.

Its legal to use the fence as long as your not grasping onto it.Bracing your feet but not grasping your toes onto it

It was Stojnic. I remember watching it and his toes were grasping the chain links. The ref told him to stop grabbing the fence. The only part touching was his feet. I thought , this ref is different. I have seen guys do this ewith their toes before and the ref said nothing. But I guess technically, it is grabbing the fence.

Yeah the fighter was Grabbing the fence with his toes!
Fighters can push off the fence with the souls of thier feet but not grab with thier toes!

I have seen many times where a fighter has grasped the fence with their toes and nothing was said. You will not get the same leverage by grabbing with your toes as you will with your fingers. That ref was definetly different, when he stopped the fight it looked more like a stand up.
"Ok. Stop, stop." Fighters stand up, ref looks at Stonjic. "Are you ok?" Stonjic says; "Ya." Then the ref calls the fight. What the hell?
