I was talking to a guy tonight, and he suggested that you could put a small solar panel on the top of your bicycle helmet to power your cel phone.
Now that's a great idea. Someone could make money with that idea.
If you have a great idea that you are too stupid or lazy to follow up on, post it here.
Funny story, in the mid 80's my brother came up with a pretty good invention. It was ready for its patent and everything. It was a pen that had white out in the back end of it. So, you could white out any mistakes. But, the. Came along erasable ink and regular white out pens, so there goes that.

No, if I'm too lazy to develop my ideas I definitely won't develop someone else's.
I had an idea for a blow up tent. Why carry an air mattress to sleep on and a tent with long poles when you can combine the two. I believe someone already made one.
Well the other day I was out shopping and saw a vendor for corn. Like, just a tub of corn on it's own. It got me wondering why hot dog vendors never go around my city centre? Somebody must have thought of this before. I thought of opening one, my daughter loves them. Could charge like £1 each. Cheaper than most other fast food joints.
^^^ I watched Shark Tank last night, and a woman invented a way to carry all your manicure needs in a kit. Sharks fought over it and the QVC lady won and said it will be huge.
The thing with your idea is it will work so well that others see it and copy it. Then what was a huge success becomes diluted. If you can get an exclusive right to be the only hot dog guy, then you got it made.
Sometime ago I thought I had this great idea; I wanted to invent a cooling pillow and a cooling duvet/comforter (for hot summer nights, fevers, whatever). I had it all planned out, material in mind, how I was going to structure it, etc. then it dawned on me to have look and see if something like this had already been on the market. Of course it was.
^^^Just bought a "cooling headband" just get it wet and Wham! $4.00 on sale Amazon.
They sell other stuff like it too. I need a cooling ballcap, straw like only synthetic I'm thinking.
If I knew how to sew I think there is a lot to be made with a heavy duty sewing machine. And profit margins must be good. I'd buy a machine and do it, but I'm afraid I'd hate sewing.

You'd be taking brain freeze to another level with your ball cap idea
I don't know how you'd be able to escape from direct, cold compression with that one.

Brain freeze taken to a whole new level might be a good thing. On the hat I was thinking something well ventilated, better than straw. Not cooling material. I'll probably find one somewhere. Also, they do make skullcaps out of the cooling cloth for brain freeze.

Sometimes it's a permit/licensing nightmare to get set up.
