I still see Hardy taking Swick for some reason. Nothing backing it up, but i see Hardy having good head movement and foot work and getting it to the ground or clinch's up every time Swick blitz's, and pulling a UD or SD. Just have a feeling.

Yeah, he said basically that he was only doing it to give Davis a hard time and try and get him riled up. It worked pretty well for him too.

It would certainly be an upset. I'm not sure that drugs exist that can give you head movement fast enough to avoid Swick's "punches in bunches". Hardy did not deserve his last win, and has the character of a financial advisor (says whatever he has to), so I hope he loses badly. I'll cheer for the underdog every time, unless his strong suit is being an insulting ***.

Well, I agree that Swick will KO Hardy but I do like Hardy. His attittude and knowledge in recent interviews shows that he is intelligent and for the record, him and Davis had beef because of Davis running his mouth!

Bummer, I love trash talk. It gets me pumped up for the fight knowing the two guys hate eachother. I love good trash-talking, it sells ppv's and tickets too. A guy with Irish ancestry saying he was happy to get to fight in Ireland was running his mouth? I thought the opposite - that Hardy ran his mouth, and Davis fell for it. I know that mind games, like foot stomps, are very effective, but I don't have to like them, or the desperate goofs who use them.

It was a very smart move. If you feel you're better than someone up higher in the rankings, but will have to win 2-3 fights just for that matchup, why not do what you can to get it sooner? I suppose you could fight on the undercard and win numerous fights and not say anything like Okami, but his career isn't going anywhere. Zuffa doesn't care about rankings, so fighters need to take the extra step to advance their careers themselves. If someone actually takes the fight soley based on your s--- talk, they're an idiot.

Hardy needs to go and train with Okami for the fight. Hardy needs to take the fight to the ground and keep it there. In the 3rd round Swick will be tired and Hardy can stand with him and even KO him. I like Hardy and would love to see him win.
