Apparently it was a BBC mini series.
Post Thoughts here.

A night that begins innocently for Pakistani-American college student Nasir "Naz" Khan turns horrific after he meets a mysterious young woman.

2 episodes in and it's terrific.
This should have been True Detective 2.

It's been great so far, hopefully they have a strong finish, and don't drop the ball. It looks like he clearly killed her, and even if he didn't, how could they possibly prove he didn't? Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

My wife thinks step dad did something. Maybe he gets the fancy house if she's gone type a thing.

Loving the show so far, just watched episode 6. I'm glad the lawyer's feet are finally ok and they can stop focusing on that part of it, it was getting a little ridiculous how much time they spent on it.

It's been a very interesting progression for Naz. He goes from goody-goody kid, to having knuckle tattoos, smuggling drugs, and hustling in jail. I hope that if he's found innocent (key word: if), that they don't the story there, that they continue with what his life is like as a free man afterwards.

Someone said it was a British show, so I assumed it was only 6 episodes.
Binged watched 6 eps last night. The last half hour of Ep 6 I was on the edge of my seat waiting for something drastic to happen to finish the show.
Fail.

Good show. Personally, I would've like to have seen what "really" happened. But I can't complain about the ending. It was fitting.

Feel the exact same way. I was sure they were going to throw some twist in at the end like he actually really did it, or he gets stabbed in prison on his way out or something but they didn't. Excellent show overall though. Felt bad for the lawyer having that itchy sh*t still at the end.

IT took like 5 mins for him to pack up his stuff and leave. I was waiting for him to get shanked.
Also, when hes smoking dope on the beach and flashing back, I was waiting for him to remember killing her or something. Like she starts laughing at little pecker, or something, and he gets mad and stabby. Or the accountant guy, walks in the house and sees her dead already and flees cause his problems are solved.
-1 for the "boxing champ" throwing garbage punches too.

Had the exact same thoughts, especially about the terrible boxing by MKW... someone should have told him.

Great ending. I was expecting Naz to do something to get himself arrested again, and sent back to prison, because in there, he was important to people. I thought that discussion with Freddy earlier in the season, where he says he killed someone to get sent to that specific prison to be closer to his family, and the conversation at the end about Naz being a unicorn was foreshadowing it.... Great ending though, very powerful series.
I thought Freddy was winging shitty punches because he was upset that Naz was leaving....

That's how his punches were throughout the series.

I've seen people theorize that the phone call Stone gets @ the end is Naz after getting himself arrested for possession.
