Lombard gives Dong a terrible beating to the point where dong is lying in a limp sweaty puddle after 3 hard rounds of being man handled….. that is if Lombard can keep dong from laying on him and being forced into an uncomfortable position where dong can tap him.

I'd like to think so, but:
First, Woodley/MacDonald seems to be a #1 contender fight
Then Lawler/Ellenberger is already booked (though Brown just fought, so I suppose the winner of this fight could be a choice)
Condit is out
Lombard/Kim booked
Maia has a fight
That just leaves Saffiedine available in the top 10
Any lower and I could see how the UFC could still use that to not give him the title shot, even though he'd be on an eight fight win streak then.

Looked alright against Shields, I thought. Also he has gone 5 rounds before with Schlemenko. DHKs last fight was scheduled for 5 but went only 3, he's never been out of the first.

We'll see, but the travel, the weightcut the 5 rounds, i see more negatives in this than positives for lombard if he doesn't finish in the first. Kim is griddy on top
