He's a beast of a fighter and i honestly have no idea why none of the top organizations have tried to bring him in.
Personally think that he smashes the majority of MW's out there. And on a good night could take out any of the MW's worldwide not named Anderson Silva, and even that would be a good fight.

i think bellator has him locked up and i know they are fairly strict with lending out their fighters didn;t alverez have a tough time getting a certain fight in japan because of being the bellator champ?
Being from Australia ive seen alot of his fights in the CFC and nobody has even touched him. For example he fought Jamie Te Huna who was number 2 in Australia and just demolished him like he was nothing (which is big because Te Huna is a destroyer over here too). But I wanna see how he would go against some of the top 10 middleweights, cos he hasnt really fought against anyone who is really up there - apart from Mousasi which he lost a decision.
I saw an interview with Lombard about 6 months ago he said he was hoping to break into the UFC but i dunno whats going there. Would love to see him in there...

I've seen a few of Lombard's fights online and dude is a beast..Hmm Te Huna isn't he making his UFC debut at UFC 110 or is that someone else?
last time i hear about lombar he make a good fight against Kalib Starnes scoring an easy win and them he said that he is in talks with strikeforce and probably signs with them, the only thing is this would happen after his figth with bellator since he has a obligation to defend his title against the winner of the second season of the MW tournament
I would love to see Lombard take the next step in level of competition. He deffinately has skills but I'm always wary of calling a guy a world beater when the level of competition he has faced is nowhere near what it is in the big leagues. He has never beaten anyone that is even close to a top 20 fighter and the only two times in his career he has faced a higher level of fighter he has lost. I think he could have an immediate impact in SF and would deffinately be top 3 but he would have to win a few fights in the UFC against guys like Belcher, Quarry, Okami, Sonnen, Akiyama, Wandy, Miller, Bisping, Simpson, Palhares etc. before I would say he is ready for guys like Silva, Marquardt, Maia. At 5'9" I think Palhares is the only fighter shorter than him in the UFC MW division which could be somewhat of an issue.
